Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates will meet President Lee Myung-bak May 6 during his visit to South Korea to discuss cooperation in the IT field and games industry, an official from the presidential office said.
Seoul will build a 14-floor building to support foreigners which wll include medical, sports and social outlets, according to the city's administrative office. The city plans to finish construction of the site in 2011.

South Korea will increase the percentage of nuclear power within the entire output of energy to tackle high energy prices and possibilities of an energy crisis, the Knowledge Economy minister said.
Roughly 40 percent of the CEOs of South Korean companies oppose building a cross-country canal, one of President Lee Myung-bak's key election pledges, according to a poll conducted by the Institute for Global Economics on 125 company heads.
