THE STRAITS TIMES

- Two made-in-China Cadbury products -- Choclairs blueberry flavour and Choclairs coffee flavour -- were found to contain small amounts of melamine, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority said.

- South Korea's Ssangyong Engineering & Construction (012650.KQ) has agreed not to cut the monthly pay of some 180 Chinese workers from S$1,700 ($1,154) to S$1,200 following intervention by the Manpower Ministry. The workers are involved in the construction of Las Vegas Sands' (LVS.N) upcoming casino in Singapore.

- Singapore yacht maker Grand Banks Yachts (GBYL.SI) warned it may face cancellations and a drop in orders.

BUSINESS TIMES

- The liberalisation of Singapore's S$300 million-a-year town gas market is not expected until 2009/2010, the chief executive of City Gas Ng Yong Hwee said. City Gas is owned by CitySpring Infrastructure Trust (CITY.SI), a fund managed by state investor Temasek.
