Australia vehicle sales up 10.5 pct yr/yr in Nov

 SYDNEY, Dec 5 (Reuters) - New vehicle sales in Australia
rose 10.5 percent in November over the same month last year,
the Australian Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries said on
Wednesday.
 In original terms, sales rose 3.1 percent in November
compared to October. Adjusted for seasonal factors, sales were
up by 1.2 percent, VFACTS said.
 The VFACTS report said 963,732 vehicles had been sold in
the year so far, 8.8 percent ahead of the same period in 2006.
The November result equated to a seasonally adjusted annualised
rate of 1.047 million vehicles

 Toyota Motor Corp. (7203.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) retained the top sales position
in November with a 22.8 percent share, and held a 22.4 percent
share for the year so far.
 The Holden unit of General Motors Corp (GM.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) took second
spot in November with a 13.6 percent share, while Ford Motor
Co. (F.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) came third with 10.0 percent.
