Mitsubishi to shut Australia car plant in March:TV
CANBERRA, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Mitsubishi Motors Corp (7211.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) will shut down its Australian car plant by the end of March, Australian Broadcasting Corp. television reported on Tuesday.
The ABC said a source within Mitsubishi had confirmed the closure and a meeting had been called for about 1,000 workers in the canteen of the Clovelly Park plant in South Australia state. (Reporting by Rob Taylor)
