Metcash says has debt capacity for Primary bid
MELBOURNE, June 3 (Reuters) - Metcash Ltd (MTS.AX), Australia's largest grocery wholesaler, said on Tuesday it had enough debt capacity that it would not need to issue new shares if it was successful in its bid for a unit of Primary Health Care Ltd (PRY.AX).
Chief Executive Andrew Reitzer made the comments at a media briefing. ($1=A$1.05) (Reporting by Victoria Thieberger)
