MELBOURNE, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Foster's Group Ltd (FGL.AX), the world's second-largest wine group, said on Wednesday it has yet to receive any proposals on its wine business, whose future it is reviewing.

"To date that hasn't happened," Chairman David Crawford told reporters after the company's annual shareholders meeting, adding that he had no doubt that bankers would come forward with proposals.

The brewer began a review of the future of the wine business, whose brands include Rosemount and Penfolds and which is worth about A$5 billion ($3.2 billion), earlier this year after sliding sales at the unit dragged down overall profit.

The result of the review has been put forward until early 2009, it said on Wednesday, from a previous target of before the end of this year. (Reporting by Simone Giuliani)
