Honda says eyes 2008 US sales of 1.59 mln cars

TOKYO, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co (7267.T) said on Wednesday it would aim for U.S. sales of 1.59 million cars in 2008, up 3 percent from its estimated sales of 1.55 million there this year.

Japan's second-biggest automaker also said it would target sales of 420,000 cars in Europe in 2008, up 11 percent from its estimate for this year. (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim)
