NEW YORK, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Stop & Shop Supermarket said on Friday it is recalling its 2-pound cookie trays produced by Luigi's Bakery and sold in its Connecticut and New York stores due to undeclared ingredients.

The cookies were recalled because the label did not list as ingredients artificial colors including FD&C Yellow #5, which can cause allergic reactions, the company said. Further investigations by regulatory agencies found that the cookies also failed to list milk and sulphur dioxide as ingredients.

Customers who purchased these cookies, packaged in wrapped plastic plates with a Luigi's Bakery Sticker, may return them to Stop & Shop for a full refund, the company said.

Stop & Shop is owned by Dutch supermarket group Ahold (AHLN.AS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) AHO.N, the world's seventh-biggest retailer by sales. (Reporting by Lisa Lee; Editing by Tomasz Janowski)
