William Hill H1 profits down 10 percent

LONDON, July 31 (Reuters) - British bookmaker William Hill (WMH.L) reported a 10 percent decline in first-half earnings on Thursday, in line with its expectations.

The London-based bookmaker said profit before finance charges and exceptional items fell to 145.1 million pounds ($287.3 million) in the 26 weeks to July 1. (Reporting by Matthew Scuffham; Editing by Paul Bolding)
