Funeral firm Dignity says Q1 revenue up 8.6 pct
LONDON, May 12 (Reuters) - British funeral services group Dignity Plc (DTY.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Monday that first-quarter revenue rose 8.6 percent to 46.9 million pounds ($91.51 million) and trading since the end of the quarter continues to be in line with expectations.
Operating profit, excluding profit on the sale of fixed assets, rose 6.6 percent to 17.7 million pounds in the thirteen weeks ended March 28, the company said. (Reporting by Erica Billingham; Editing by Louise Ireland)
