S.Korea LS Cable wins $200 mln Iraqi network deal

SEOUL, July 9 (Reuters) - South Korea's LS (006260.KS) said on Thursday its unit LS Cable Ltd had won a 255.76 billion won ($200.2 million) order from Sinatel Co Ltd to supply and install a communication network in Iraq.

Under the contract, LS Cable will set up the network for broadcasting, Internet and fixed-line and mobile telecom services in several key Iraqi cities by mid-2012, LS said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.
