TOKYO, June 23 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average fell 1.3 percent on Monday, led down by blue-chip exporters like Kyocera Corp (6971.T) after sharp losses on Wall Street on rising oil prices.

Financial shares such as Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (8306.T) were under selling pressure after warnings of more mortgage-related write-downs at U.S. banks.

As of 0005 GMT, the benchmark Nikkei .N225 fell 181.38 points to 13,760.70. The broader Topix lost 1.8 percent to 1,332.32. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka)
