Chevron says Pascagoula refinery ramping up
NEW YORK, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp (CVX.N) said Friday its 330,000 barrel-per-day oil refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi, was ramping up to normal rates after Hurricane Gustav.
"The refinery began returning to planned production rates on Thursday, Sept. 4, when the U.S. Coast Guard reopened the ship channel leading to the refinery," Chevron said in a press release.
The Pascagoula refinery ran at reduced rates for several days due to Gustav. (Reporting by Richard Valdmanis)
