StatoilHydro CEO sess greater economic uncertainty

HOUSTON, Feb. 12 (Reuters) - The chief executive of StatoilHydro (STL.OL) on Tuesday said he sees growing economic uncertainty.

"The uncertainty is bigger than it has been in the past," Helge Lund, chief executive officer of StatoilHydro, told the CERAWeek news conference in Houston.

Lund added that he believes a recession in the U.S. would affect economies in other countries and demand for oil. (Reporting by Anna Driver and Bruce Nichols in Houston)
