HOUSTON, May 12 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said all units at its 135,000 barrel per day Los Angeles-area refinery in Wilmington, California, had restarted by Monday morning and were at planned production levels or moving toward planned rates.

The refinery was hit on Sunday morning by a brief power outage and began restarting units by Sunday afternoon.

"We do not expect a significant loss of production because we were able to get the units restarted so quickly, due to the hard work and dedication of our skilled Wilmington employees," said Valero spokesman Bill Day in a statement. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by John Picinich)
