Valero restores partial power at Texas City plant
NEW YORK, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp. (VLO.N) has restored partial power to some production units at its 245,000-barrel per day Texas City, Texas oil refinery on Monday after power was lost due to Hurricane Ike.
"We have restored partial power at Texas City," Valero spokesman Bill Day told Reuters. Asked if there was an estimate when power would be fully restored, he said: "We don't know, we are working with the local utility provider on that." (Reporting by Haitham Haddadin; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
