Shell says delaying some turnarounds due to hurricanes

NEW YORK, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Shell Oil Co. will delay turnaround maintenance at some Gulf Coast sites due to the effects of hurricanes Gustav and Ike, the company said in a press release Friday.

"Shell and Motiva have decided to defer certain turnaround maintenance activities planned for third quarter 2008 at some Gulf Coast manufacturing sites," the release said.
