Nippon Oil, CNPC to mull Osaka unit as joint refinery

TOKYO, May 7 (Reuters) - Nippon Oil Corp (5001.T) said on Wednesday it and state-owned China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) have agreed to consider turning the Japanese refiner's Osaka refinery into a joint refinery.

The Osaka refinery has one crude distillation unit with a capacity of 115,000 barrels per day.
