India's L&T gets contracts worth $135 mln

MUMBAI, July 1 (Reuters) - Indian engineering and construction firm Larsen & Toubro (LART.BO) said on Wednesday it had bagged two contracts worth 6.51 billion rupees ($135 million).

Larsen said it will construct a greenfield refinery in northern India for HPCL-Mittal Energy at a cost of 4.4 billion rupees. It will also construct a reactor for the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL.BO) for 2.1 billion rupees. ($1=48.10 rupees) (Reporting by Prashant Mehra; Editing by Dhara Ranasinghe)
