Singapore SembMarine to build second rig for Atwood

SINGAPORE, July 4 (Reuters) - Rig-builder Sembcorp Marine (SCMN.SI) said on Friday that U.S. drilling firm Atwood Oceanics Pacific (ATW.N) had exercised an option to construct a second deepwater semi-submersible rig with its Jurong Shipyard unit.

Contract details are being discussed and a further announcement will be made at a later date, SembMarine said in a statement. It did not disclose the value of the deal. (Reporting by Daryl Loo; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
