-- China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued a notice on Wednesday banning staff of state firms from holding stakes in their employers' affiliates.

SHANGHAI SECURITIES NEWS

-- Pingdingshan Tianan Coal Mining Co (601666.SS) said it raised the prices of coking coal by 300 yuan per tonne on June 10, its second price hike since May.

-- The China State Council urged governments of all levels to reduce the tax burden on individuals and companies in earthquake-stricken areas.

-- China will be prudent in adjusting oil product prices as the country is facing significant inflation pressure, said Zhang Xiaoqiang, deputy chief of the country's top economic planner.

-- Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (600820.SS) said it has won a 850 million yuan contract to build a entertainment facility in Singapore.

-- China Life Insurance Co (601628.SS) is in talks to take a stake in Ningxia Bank.

FINANCIAL NEWS

-- China issued 827.69 billion yuan ($120.3 billion) worth of various bonds in the first five months this year, up 16.5 percent from a year earlier, data from the central bank showed.
