Thai Hot Stocks - Index seen higher on energy, banks
BANGKOK, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Thai stocks are expected to open higher on Tuesday, led by heavyweight energy shares and banks, analysts said.
"Big cap energy shares may still look attractive after the recent rise in oil prices, but there is going to be some profit taking after yesterday's rally," Therdsak Taveeteeratham, analyst at Asia Plus Securities, said.
The main SET index .SETI surged 6.39 percent to a two-month high of 478.69 on Monday, led by energy firms PTT (PTT.BK) and PTT Exploration (PTTE.BK).
