BANGKOK (Reuters) - Protesters occupying Thailand's Government House to force the resignation of Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej vowed on Tuesday to continue their sit-in despite a court verdict against Samak.

Speaking on the protest stage, movement leader Prapan Kunmee said he feared Samak would simply be voted back to office by his ruling People Power Party (PPP), a move PPP officials have already indicated will happen.

"We will stay here until this government is thrown out," Prapan told the cheering crowd. "Samak may come back."
