Indian shares open 1.3 pct higher on firm Asia
MUMBAI, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Indian shares opened 1.26 percent higher on Wednesday, boosted by firm Asian markets and led by gains in ICICI Bank Ltd (ICBK.BO) and top listed firm Reliance Industries Ltd (RELI.BO).
At 9:55 a.m. (0425 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 208.9 points at 16,816.94.
The 50-issue NSE index was up 1.6 percent at 4,915.50. (Reporting by Hiral Vora; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
