Indian shares open 1.3 pct higher on firm Asia
MUMBAI, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Indian shares opened 1.26 percent higher on Wednesday, boosted by firm Asian markets and led by gains in ICICI Bank Ltd (ICBK.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and top listed firm Reliance Industries Ltd (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).
At 9:55 a.m. (0425 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 208.9 points at 16,816.94.
