CORRECTED-India HDFC to review home loan rates by end-June
(Corrects ICICI alert to show source as CEO, not chairman)
MUMBAI, June 12 (Reuters) - Indian mortgage firm Housing Development Finance Corp (HDFC.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) will take a decision on raising interest rates on home loans by end of this month, its chairman Deepak Parekh said on Thursday.
He said there was upward pressure on interest rates.
The central bank raised its key lending rate unexpectedly late on Wednesday by 25 basis points to 8.0 percent.
