Indian shares provisionally rise 0.4 pct
MUMBAI, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 0.4 percent on Tuesday, as long-term investors took advantage of a 5.6 percent drop over the past three sessions to enter the market.
The 30-share BSE index .BSESN provisionally ended up 57.21 points at 15,066.98, with 19 stocks gaining.
The 50-share NSE index provisionally closed up 0.8 percent at 4,471.90. (Reporting by Pratish Narayanan; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
