MACQUARIE CAPITAL ADVISORS

The asset management firm said Morgan Edwards has joined as managing director within the debt structuring and advisory group based in New York.

Prior to joining Macquarie, Edwards was a managing director in high yield capital markets at Bear Stearns & Co.

Previous to Bear, Edwards worked at Morgan Stanley (MS.N) in various roles, including high yield distribution and as portfolio manager in charge of the firms' loan portfolio.

GETZLER HENRICH & ASSOCIATES LLC

The turnaround firm appointed D. Tyler Mayoras as managing director of its Chicago office. Mayoras officially joined the firm on August 4 and will oversee all client engagements in the Midwest.

Mayoras joins Getzler Henrich from his position as principal of Mars Equities Group, a private equity group focused on acquiring underperforming or distressed middle market companies in the Upper Midwestern United States.

BNP PARIBAS (BNPP.PA)

BNP Paribas named Sebastian Galy as head of its FX research unit covering global currency markets.

Galy joins the firm from Dresdner Kleinwort in London where he was senior currency strategist. Prior to that he was at UBS, where he was responsible for the global FX portfolio tactical asset allocation of its non-institutional base.

The firm also appointed Adnan Zuberi as director of the structured credit desk in New York.

Zuberi joins from JP Morgan Chase (JPM.N), where he was an executive director in structured credit.

STANFORD GROUP

The financial services firm named Brent Milner as managing director and head of healthcare investment banking. Milner joins Stanford from Thomas Weisel Partners, where he served as head of healthcare investment banking.
