TARGET payments system operating again in Greece-ECB

FRANKFURT, March 6 (Reuters) - The Greek arm of the TARGET payments system is working again, the European Central Bank said on Thursday, ending three full days of no service due to a strike by Bank of Greece (BOGr.AT) staff.

Workers on Monday blocked access to the central bank in protest at planned government pension reforms, freezing stock and bond trading as well as the TARGET system for high value interbank transfers.

The ECB said on its information page ECB46 at 1030 GMT that the disruptions had been resolved and the system was now working normally in all countries. (Reporting by Krista Hughes, editing by Mike Peacock)
