-- The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange has just approved listing more than 70 million new shares of Duc Thanh Wood Processing Co and Hung Vuong Co.

-- DHG Pharmaceutical Co DHG.HM will issue bonus shares to shareholders in the ratio of three to one.

THANH NIEN

-- Vietnam International Bank successfully raised 1.33 trillion dong ($74.5 million) via 2-year and 3-year bonds with floating yield starting at 10.5 percent per year.

THOI BAO KINH TE VIETNAM

-- Sacombank STB.HM said its gross profit in Oct. was 140 billion dong ($7.8 million).

ECONOMIC AND GENERAL NEWS:

-- At least 90 people have been killed and 22 remained missing after Typhoon Mirinae hit in the country's southcentral provinces, officials said.

-- Dairy product maker FrieslandCampina has recalled three million Dutch Lady Vivinal GOS products in Vietnam after children used the products developed allergy.

-- The Vietnam Food Association said Vietnamese exporters won contracts to export 150,000 tonnes of rice to the Phillipines at a C&F price of $480 per tonne this week.
