Hong Kong stocks rise, but Dongfang Elec slides

HONG KONG, May 16 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks rose 0.6 percent on Friday on the back of firmer global equities, but Dongfang Electric (1072.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) fell nearly 12 percent on news that its production was seriously damaged by the earthquake in China.
