HK stocks set to open 2.6 pct lower; CNOOC falls
HONG KONG, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks are set to open
2.57 percent lower on Monday, tracking losses in other markets in
Asia, while commodity-related shares such as CNOOC (0883.HK) fell
as oil prices dropped.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI was indicated to open down 558.75 points at 21,194.12.
The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks was set to fall 2.82 percent to 12,408.70.
China's offshore oil and gas specialist CNOOC declined 4.66 percent.
Debutant Chinese property developer Yuzhou Properties
(1628.HK) was set to open at HK$2.45, versus its IPO price of
HK$2.70.
