HONG KONG, May 28 (Reuters) - Shares of Hong Kong lender Wing Lung 0096.HK fell 6 percent on Wednesday after a report said China planned to limit the amount Chinese banks will pay for a majority stake in the company. Bloomberg said the Chinese government is asking China Merchants Bank (600036.SS) (3968.HK) and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd (1398.HK) to not pay more than 2.85 times book value for the stake, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
