UPDATE 1-CITIC Int'l suspended on privatisation plan

HONG KONG, June 3 (Reuters) - Trading in shares of CITIC International Financial Holdings Ltd 0183.HK was suspended on Tuesday pending a statement related to a privatisation proposal, the company said.
No further details were immediately available.
Media had reported in May that strategic investor Spanish banking group Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA.MC) would raise its stake in the Hong Kong-listed financial services firm to 35 percent from 15 percent.
Shares of CITIC International have risen 17 percent so far this year to close at HK$5.7 on Monday.
