Malaysia's MAA says AXA ends stake purchase talks

KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Reuters) - Malaysian financial services firm MAA Holdings (MAAS.KL: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has ended talks to sell a stake in Malaysian Assurance Alliance Bhd to AXA Pacific Holdings Ltd and Affin Holdings Bhd (AFIN.KL: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), MAA said on Friday.

Malaysian Assurance is MAA's insurance arm. (Reporting by Liau Y-Sing)
