ZURICH, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) showed a profit of 8.2 billion Swiss francs ($7.43 billion) for 2007 and remained profitable in the final quarter, Swiss newspaper Sonntag reported on Sunday, two days ahead of the bank's scheduled publication of results.

It made a profit of around 1 billion francs in the fourth quarter, the paper added, citing what it called a "safe source".

A Credit Suisse spokesman said the company had no comment on the report.

Credit Suisse is due to report results on Tuesday.
