VILNIUS, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Lithuania's Ukio bankas (UKB1L.VL) said on Wednesday it had repaid loans totalling 62 million euros ($78.27 million).

The bank has said these amounts accounted for 95 percent of total debt maturing this year. Ukio said in a statement it had repaid a loan of 48 million euros received on November 26 last year and 14 million euros, received on June 30 this year.

According to Reuters data, the mandate arrangers of the 48 million loan were Bayern LB and HSH Nordbank AG.

Latvia had to nationalise its second-largest bank two weeks ago in order to save it from bankruptcy and help it refinance syndicated loans worth more than 700 million euros, which are coming due next year.

Apart from Ukio, other Baltic banks with loans due to be repaid this year or next are Latvia's Norvik Bank, which has 22 million euros due in December and Latvian Rietumu Bank, which has a 40 million euro loan arranged by the European Bank for reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to repay in December and a 75 million euro credit maturing in September next year.

Also in Latvia, Baltikums bank has 5 million euros of debt due in April 2009, Krajbanka has to repay 15 million euros in May 2009 and Aizkraukles Bank has an 85 million euro syndicated loan maturing in July 2009.
