PARIS, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Credit Agricole (CAGR.PA) said its chairman and chief executive officer will propose the appointment of two new joint deputy chief executive officers at the French bank's next board meeting on Oct. 1.

The appointments of Jean-Yves Hocher and Bernard Mary will coincide with the restructuring of the bank's general management around four business areas.

Jean-Yves Hocher will lead the regional bank development, insurance and means of payment division, while Bernard Mary will head the retail banking unit.

The two new deputy CEOs will join Jean-Frederic de Leusse who is in charge of the specialised business lines unit, and Jacques Lernormand who leads the financing and strategy division.

Jean-Yves Hocher is currently in charge of specialised financial services and Bernard Mary is CEO of Credit Agricole du Nord Est. (Reporting by Helen Massy-Beresford; Editing by David Holmes)
