Philippines' Globe: double-digit sales growth hard
MANILA, April 1 (Reuters) - Globe Telecom (GLO.PS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the Philippines' second-largest phone company, said on Tuesday it would be difficult to achieve double-digit revenue growth this year as economic growth slows.
The company also said it was looking to raise 7.5 billion pesos ($181 million) in debt this year to meet capital expenditure of $400 million-$450 million.
Globe is owned by Singapore Telecommunications (STEL.SI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corp. (AC.PS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz). ($1=41.46 Philippine Peso) (Reporting by Rosemarie Francisco; Editing by Alan Raybould)
