Fremont General delays quarterly financial report
WASHINGTON, May 13 (Reuters) - Fremont General Corp FMNT.PK, which was one of the largest U.S. providers of subprime mortgages, on Tuesday told regulators it will not file its quarterly financial report on time.
The possibility of filing for bankruptcy protection could further delay submitting its 2007 annual report and 2008 first quarter filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Brea, California-based company said.
