ICE declares force majeure on Houston Port coffee
NEW YORK, Sept 15 (Reuters) - The board of directors at ICE Futures U.S. declared a force majeure in coffee deliveries in Port of Houston, effective immediately, following Hurricane Ike, the exchange said on Monday.
The board also declared a moratorium on the receipt or delivery of certificated coffee by or from exchange licensed warehouses located in the Port. (Reporting by Marcy Nicholson)
