Former South Korean ambassador to Japan Choi Sang-yong told the newspaper that Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama told him in an meeting on Oct. 31 in Tokyo that there was a need for change in Japan's relations with the United States, in which he felt Japan was subordinate, and that he was comprehensively reviewing them.
