Seoul shares hit 18-mth low; financials tumble

Local institutional investors bought a net 717 billion won,
and retail investors sold a net 424 billion won.

Decliners outnumbered advancers by 652 to 198, with 49 titles
ending flat.

Trade volume stood at 367 million shares worth 5.4 trillion
won, compared with 306 million shares worth 5 trillion won on
Monday.

The KOSPI 200 September futures index KSU8 lost 0.30 points
to 183.30 and the KOSPI 200 spot index .KS200 rose 0.28 points
to 182.41. The junior Kosdaq .KQ11 market fell 4.8 percent to
418.14 points.
