Seoul stocks hit 8-mth low on exporters, brokerages=2

Domestic institutions bought a net 882.8 billion won worth of shares and retail investors sold a net 156.4 billion won.

Decliners overwhelmed advancers at 764 to 78 with 33 titles ending flat.

Trade volume stood at 314.3 million shares worth 6.9 trillion won, compared with Monday's 285.7 million shares valued at 5.7 trillion won.

The March KOSPI 200 futures index <0#KS:> fell 10.05 points to 204.90 and the underlying KOSPI 200 spot index lost 9.05 points to 204.55.

The junior Kosdaq market fell 5.69 percent to 614.80.
