SEOUL, April 7 (Reuters) - Seoul stocks opened slightly firmer on Monday buoyed by gains in technology shares, on expectations for solid earnings, despite U.S. job data pointing to a slowdown in the world's largest economy.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was up 0.2 percent to 1,769.63 points as of 0005 GMT.
