S'pore-Malaysia exchange trade links seen in 6-12mths
SINGAPORE, March 4 (Reuters) - Malaysia's stock exchange operator Bursa Malaysia (BMYS.KL: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Tuesday that exchange trading links between Singapore and Malaysia are possible within six to 12 months.
Bursa chief executive Yusli Mohamed Yusoff told reporters at an industry event that the linkage will take place after infrastructure systems upgrades by both Bursa and the Singapore Exchange (SGXL.SI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz). (Reporting by Yvonne Cheong, editing by Neil Chatterjee)
