Siam Commercial Bank says Q1 performance sustainable
SINGAPORE, April 25 (Reuters) - Siam Commercial Bank SCB.BK said on Friday that its first quarter performance was sustainable.
"If you look at the economy in general, our fundamentals are very strong," the bank's president Kannikar Chalitaporn said on the sidelines of a conference in Singapore.
She said she saw Thai lenders' performance in the first quarter as the start of an investment cycle rather than tailing off.
Siam Commercial Bank is Thailand's third largest bank by assets.
