THE STRAITS TIMES

- The Health Ministry said there is no need for Singaporeans to rush to get a flu shot due to a seasonal flu outbreak in Hong Kong, as there has been no unusual increase in the number of people falling sick in the city-state. Hong Kong health authorities have shut elementary schools for two weeks to contain the outbreak.

- A labour supply firm has put up a reward of S$50,000 ($36,260) for information leading to the capture of alleged Islamic miitant Mas Selamat bin Kastari, who escaped from a detention centre on Feb 27, the highest sum offered to date. THE BUSINESS TIMES

- A private fund managed by ARA Asset Management (ARAM.SI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) group has bought 53 units at Chip Eng Seng (CESE.SI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Citadel's 68-unit Grange Infinite freehold condo project for almost S$400 million, but at discounts to previous prices paid for individual units.
