- Pandemic flu vaccination started in Singapore on Tuesday, with staff at a local clinic being among the first to get their shots.

- Sixteen coach operators operating between Singapore and Malaysia and their association have been fined S$1.69 million ($1.21 million) for price fixing.

BUSINESS TIMES

- China Huanneng, the new owner of Tuas Power, has decided to go ahead with building a $2 billion coal/biomass cogeneration plant on Jurong Island as the economy is improving, sources said.
