SYDNEY, Feb 15 (Reuters) - UBS (UBSN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has appointed
Grant Lovett as its new head of fixed interest in Sydney after
current division head Simon Maidment announced this week he was
stepping down, sources at UBS said on Friday.
Australian national Lovett will transfer to Sydney from the
U.S., where he is head of credit trading and sales, in late
March or early April to work with Maidment during a transition
period.
Maidment's new assignment at UBS has yet to be announced.
Sources said the new post could be in Australia or overseas.
Maidment was promoted to head of fixed interest four years
ago.
