Australia's Centro invites in potential investors
SYDNEY, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Australia's Centro Properties Group (CNP.AX), battered by investors after it revealed difficulties refinancing debt, on Wednesday invited outside investors to express interest in the group as part of a strategic review.
Centro, whose shares have slumped as much as 80 percent, said it had received a "significant number" of unsolicited expressions of interest from a range of strategic and financial investors.
Expressions of interest were being sought for a whole of group review, or the acquisition of the group's interests in its Australian and U.S. wholesale funds. ($1=A$1.14) (Reporting by Richard Pullin)
